1969 Dodge Charger "General Lee"
SOLD SOLD SOLD
This is a fun 1969 Dodge Charger that replicates the "General Lee" from the Dukes of Hazzard movies. It has a 318ci V8 with an automatic transmission. It is a very fun car to drive and not something you would have to worry about getting messed up.
The engine is the original 318ci V8 producing 230hp. The engine starts up easily and runs smoothly. The dual exhaust has a very powerful note. The engine is mated to the Heavy Duty A727 TorqueFlite 3-speed automatic transmission. The front has the torsion bar suspension and the rear has leaf springs. The brakes are drums all the way around. The wheels are 15" Carrol Shelby wheels.
The underside of the car is in great shape. It is a very solid foundation. The floors look very nice and don't appear to have ever had pans. The rockers and wheel wells are all in good shape except for one dent on the driver side. There are no rust holes under the bottom. The underside of this car is very nice.
The exterior of the car is styled to look like the "General Lee" Charger. It has an orange "Bo and Luke barn on the farm" paint job with the confederate flag decals on the roof and the "01" decals on the door. It also has the front grille guard and the CB antenna mounted on the trunk. It even has the air horn that plays the first 12 notes of "Dixie". The body on this car isn't perfect, but would make a great play car.
The interior of the car has tan vinyl bucket seats in the front. All of the seats are in very nice condition and show very little wear. The door panels and dash are tan as well, and they show some wear. The glove box was signed by John Schneider (Bo Duke) and James Best (Rosco). It has a roll bar inside for cosmetic purposes. It has a pioneer head unit with CD player. It also has a CB radio mounted under the dash.
This is a fun car that will get attention everywhere. It is has been said to be the most recognizable car in the world. It would make a fun driver and weeked play toy.
