1964 Cadillac Coupe DeVille Details

This is a beautiful Black Cadillac Coupe DeVille. It is a true survivor with only 41,000 original miles on the car.

This car has power steering for almost effortless parking. The Air Conditioning blows ice cold. Cadillac Hydra-matic drive and turbo hydra-matic automatic transmission for smooth response and proven dependability. Cadillac power brakes and Cadillac heater and defroster. The car also is V8 four barrel equipped with a 429 Cubic inch motor.

The car runs, drives, and stops amazingly. True Cadillac luxury without sacrificing style or performance. Cold A/C for cruising during the summertime or those hot days. The plush blue interior engulfs you in luxury and provides you the comforts you expect from the Cadillac name. All the gauges work correctly, and the interior panels are in great polished shape. The speedometer gauge is exceptional. .

The car has mostly original paint. The paint is glossy and beautiful, but under close inspection, it is apparent that this is real antique paint with the imperfections that come with it. The car has the original steel wheels with Cadillac hubcaps and the chrome accents inside and out are in great condition. The doors open and close properly as well. The interior has all working gauges, knobs, and buttons and the panels are in good shape.

The car is a great driver and would make a great addition to a Cadillac enthusiast’s stable or just someone who wants a piece of classic luxury. As a bonus, the car will come with most of the original maintenance records and some literature from the purchase of the vehicle.

The bottom line on this car is that it is a great survivor. It fires right up every time. If you are looking for an antique unmolested car, this is it. It is not a fully perfect restored car. It is a car that is obviously an antique, with all the patina only time can provide. It would be a great car to restore, but I would keep it just the way it is right now. A car is only original once.

All the door locks work on the car, the gas gauge works, and the exhaust is new. The transmission shifts just as it should, and the engine sounds and feels great under acceleration. The brakes work very easily as a luxury car should. The windows all go up and down nicely. It is a really fun car to drive, and amazingly effortless to drive.
